I'm 44. I actually googled tickets for Eurovision 2022. I'm not far off adding up the number values of the letters in our respective last names and adding them up in my jotter to see if we are a match

@embarrassingcrushtoo I totally agree about the change in language...their songs in Italian are actual poetry (there are English translations available for some but not all of them even if the translation is never quite right...maybe this could be a new project for me? Translating Måneskin content for obsessive English speaking fans on YouTube 😂) plus Damiano is so much hotter when speaking Italian with his Roman accent. It sounds weird hearing him speak English! I find that a lot though, if I speak one language with someone when I meet them or only hear them speaking one language it’s always weird to change and just really unnatural.

@WallinoMio loved the waxing video They do seem to have a lovely relationship, whatever it is - I get brother and sister vibes although there are a lot of social media posts that think otherwise.

Agree about the language thing, although it seems like they got a lot of UK inspiration and had to change to fit in in Italy, so maybe it feels closer to how they started out to be writing in English. I hope they'll do both. I am a fan also of Christine and the Queens and she does a great job of incorporating French and English.

Here's another Maneskin interview I enjoyed. Damiano laughs a lot (gorgeous), Victoria seems thoughtful and eloquent, Thomas looks dazed and confused, and Ethan basically nods along sweetly and says "Exactly" every now and again

I was wondering, given Maneskin are likely to announce a tour in the UK quite soon, maybe in the next few weeks, is anyone else planning to go and see them? Particularly in London?

I imagine tickets will go v v quickly, so any hints on when/where they'll be for sale appreciated!

I wanted to get tickets for them here in Italy but most places are either sold out or have really rubbish seats left (and what’s the point in going if I can’t -perv- see properly..?! 😂). I’m hoping they add more dates here, they’ve already added some in places but I suspect they’re probably going to abandon Italy in favour of a European tour (mainly to satisfy half of mumsnet it seems!)

This song was huge here in Italy and I think it’s still one of my favourites….make sure you google the English translation of the lyrics too (even though they don’t really do it justice)

@embarrassingcrushtoo great song choices! The problem here in Italy with English language songs is that the uncensored versions get played so I’m always worried about my DS picking up on the language and then me getting the blame for it as I’m his main source of English 😂
