I'm 44. I actually googled tickets for Eurovision 2022. I'm not far off adding up the number values of the letters in our respective last names and adding them up in my jotter to see if we are a match

I think they're heading stratospheric whoever the manager is, but hope they don't lose what makes them so unique and adorable.

I watched the TikTok gig and actually I think they need to fire whichever sound engineer they had! I couldn't hear the bass at all and the guitar was way too quiet compared to Damiano's voice - maybe he had the same issue as he kept on fiddling with his in ear thing! Anyway I bloody loved it regardless

So I Wanna Be Your Slave has landed at no. 7 in the UK chart despite it not being their official single, and it seems like Maneskin mania has greeted them on their journey across Europe at the moment! (Look how bemused they are by all the adulation - so adorable). I hope they're headed our way soon ❤

Wow, they look totally overwhelmed and shocked by that reaction in Holland! I can't think when I've heard anything like that since the Beatles or something. Modern fans don't usually scream! But then how many current groups have a fanclub of MN vipers following their every move either?

Shame about the sound problems at the gig. They looked amazing, but are so clearly a live band who get high on the reactions from the audience, so it seems a bit cruel to make them play to an empty auditorium.

And Damiano needs a) a better make-up artist who uses products that last and b) a break to rest his voice. No-one can put that much energy and emotion into every song (and smoke that much!) for any length of time.

I worry their new management may not have their long-term best interests at heart and just be capitalising on their popularity for a short-term burst onto the scene.

I don't want them to burn out. They need to give themselves a break and pace themselves. Their fans will cope if they have a couple of days off a week.

I do agree @embarrassingcrushtoo. They are so young and although exciting it will be a massive challenge/pressure to suddenly have the world's attention. They were back on point on Dutch TV last night (maybe playback though?)

Also in this interview you hear about how Damiano is actually always the first one to bed and a bit of a sfigato, according to the others. He also gets very flustered and flushed when asked to choose between leather and latex

I have been keeping up with the band too on multiple media but hadn't seen that article. Love the really long quote from Ethan near the end of the article, in English - I've noticed Ethan's English is improving, so he'll actually say a few words in interviews now, but I somehow doubt he came out with a whole paragraph in fluent English quite yet!

Would rather it was one of their original songs than a cover they did years ago, but hey, lovely that they are now global hits.

They have just announced on Instagram that the music video for I Wanna Be Your Slave is out very soon - unfortunately in the accompanying pic Damiano's new haircut is quite Baldrick-esque

I imagine they want to get it released as a proper single to get the attention back on their current album! I have to admit I'm really not a fan of their cover of Beggin'.

Saw this. Shame about the haircut. I admit I definitely prefer long hair in general. (On men and women.) I hope he and the band are OK with all the negative attention - while it's one thing to say you'd like people to focus on the talent not the looks, which he has done, it's another thing entirely to have tens of thousands of people dissing your new haircut publicly. :(

I hope he hasn't been hiding away for a few days because he hated the new haircut too. Though if so it will grow back quick and he can gel it in the meantime, while adding it to the 'time he dyed it blonde' on the list of things he might not want to repeat...?

Poor guy. Being so famous that you can't even get a haircut without it trending on Twitter across the world! I know he acts so mature but he's only 22 and they've just hit ridiculous levels of fame. Must be very hard to deal with. I thought the whole band looked sad and cross on their most recent all-band photo - never seen frown lines on preternaturally calm Ethan before.

Or maybe I'm just projecting as a long-haired person who once got a really short crop and hated it!! Hope Damiano likes his new look

About to go away for a week and DH has just given me a Maneskin CD (Teatro d'Ira Vol 1), despite, nay even because of knowing about my Maneskin obsession!

Feeling very loved - that's dedication, as he will be forced to listen to it on the long journeys to and from our holiday cottage.
