As a proper fan, I've been reading with interest and only slight horror about what looks likely to be a potential Maneskin collaboration with Miley Cyrus. I liked the brief clip of Damiano singing a bit of what is apparently one of her songs and it sounded good, as anything Damiano sings does. I then listened to Miley's original and it was dreadful!!

But I guess she has the worldwide fame and will help them break the US market properly, so I can't blame them. And they'll obviously up Miley's 'cool' quotient by about a million.

Not sure how much Maneskin's 'rock' fans will love a Miley collab, but guess we're generally a welcoming and supportive bunch!

Was reading last night that Emma Marrone (Italian Eurovision contestant in 2014) has criticised Damiano and the group and Eurovision fans in general saying it's all very sexist, that she took a rock song to Eurovision and was pulled to pieces for wearing shorts.
I suggest a rewatch of her video at the final and you'll see the shorts were a small part of why she didn't win.

And his answer to what she said is perfect. He doesn't criticise her in any way, but confirms that sexism exists in the industry, that males have all the advantages that females don't, citing the fact that women can throw themselves on him and he's considered some sort of sex god and that's seen as a good thing (despite him saying "wtf, there's a stranger grabbing me and licking my face") while if Victoria just wears something osé she's considered a trollop. He finishes by saying that consent exists, is necessary and needs to be respected by all.

Exciting times!

I saw that yesterday apparently they did a concert on TikTok - well, luckily for the more mature fans like me someone has put it on youtube!

I haven't had a chance to have a proper watch yet, but the outfits are very interesting and I was really pleased they played For Your Love. I read that it's the first time they played Coraline live and I'm sad to say I think they need a bit more practice - I love Damiano as much as the next viper but he is really out of tune 😫

According to this article (in Italian) Simon Cowell might be their new manager…I’m not sure how I feel about that to be honest! My crush on Damiano is still there but I feel like I’ve become a proper fan of the band and am now far too overinvested in them and their music 😂

I enjoyed the TikTok gig, even with the couple of bum notes. I am just envious that Vic’s boobs look like this without a bra. 🤣 oh, and Damiano needs something to keep his black lippie in place. I’m genuinely impatient for them to come play near me soon!
