Help.... me.... about to assume to foetal position

My husband is doing some work (of sorts) with some acquaintances of ours. Before I knew it, without knowing how it’s happened I have now been left to host their twin boys at our place. I already have a “spirited” boy of my own. These kids are next level. They tore the place apart within the first few minutes, have broken numerous toys, traumatised the dog.... I thought I’d be enjoying a relaxing late afternoon wine by now. Instead my will go live is shot to shit. AIBU to find a dark corner in which I can assume the foetal position? They’re now punching the flowers FFS...

March out there and bellow at them. Channel your strictest, scariest teacher and bark orders at them as though you expect to be obeyed and seat them on the naughty step. Like fuck would I be having that level of disrespectful behaviour in my own house.

Then call their parents and tell them they need to collect their children within the hour as they're behaving disgracefully. Make sure you tell them about the dog.

Take me through how you actually ended up doing this for an acquaintance?

Was their mum trying to convey that she wasn't okay with them being dumped on you like that? Or was she being rude?

Re your DH suggest you and Ddog each take one of his favourite trainers and crap in it
