AIBU?

AIBU to think there are no sucky in pants suitable for me

Took delivery of a pair today. They're sucky but in the wrong place for me

I have a horrible low belly / overhang (c-section + being fat)

All shapewear I've tried - the panel is too high for me to be useful.

Has anyone found anything that would help me?

Are you ordering the right size?

According to the website yes. I think my fat bit is just in the wrong place!

Marks and Spencers have the only shapewear that works for me. I too have the dreaded low belly/overhang.

I bought a very unforgiving dress for a wedding, tried all kinds of shape wear to no avail (as confirmed pretty bluntly by the woman in the department store!) until she brought me a stretchy, roll-on, boned corset. Absolutely changed my shape with no visible roll above or below. The dress looked so much better then.
I've worn it a few times since even with dresses that I could get into with no issues as it just looks so much better.
It did get a bit uncomfortable right after dinner but I had eaten so much I probably would have been uncomfortable anyway.
Better for me than knicker style underwear.

I've a suggestion, support wear that's designed for people with a stoma. Check out Vanilla Blush, they do a vest that's fantastic. The ladies one just looks like something from M&S support wear. It's all similar to spanx but better, and does properly hold you in as it's certified as a class 1 medical device.

These are absolutely fabulous. Don't roll down, comfortable enough for everyday wear and give a smoother hourglass shape.
I am a big size 16 and I got xl - xxl.
Enjoy 😊

Can you link to it please?

@Workyticket I can't find it! I suppose with lockdown I haven't worn it but I wouldn't have thrown it out.

It looked quite like this, it was an old-fashioned brand like Triumph, I think the label was white and red and it cost about £30 at the time.

If I find it I will update, the one in the link might be worth a try?

I was coming on to say you are FABULOUS as you are and don’t waste any time with shape wear (I have wasted so many lovely occasions by feeling uncomfortable in shape wear) but as it’s your wedding you will want to look your best. How about something from the skims (available from net a Porter and selfridges) range?
