To ask gym goers about their hair?

I need / want to go to the gym as much as I can. The problem is my hair!! It's thick and heavy and takes forever to wash and dry and style. I can't do this daily (wash it every other day) as I don't have the time but I do need to go to the gym daily which means I get sweaty smelly hair. I've tried dry hair shampoo and it's awful!!
What do people do in between when you can't wash it?

I can only go to the gym at the end of the day because I must wash my hair afterwards and it will then air dry overnight or about an hour with a blow dryer.

I have very thick curly long hair, it takes an hour to brush through. I go to the gym 6 times a week, I just wash it every night. Shower before bed, wash it and go to sleep with wet hair. It goes wild but it means I don't have sweaty hair and that's all I'm bothered about.

When you put dry shampoo in your hair, leave it for about 5 minutes, massage it into the scalp and then brush it, this way it has more time to soak up the excess moisture/grease, use batiste dry shampoo too, it's the best I have found! You can buy a daily hair refresher too to spray into your hair to make it smell nice, Avon do some lovely ones for less than £3 but I am sure you can buy them elsewhere in a standard high street shop such as Superdrug
