To not want a shower everyday?

I find they dry my skin out if I shower every day, even if I use lukewarm water and emollient creams - I have kept them short, and tried everything I can think of short of seeing a dermatologist. My skin itches like crazy after most showers.

I do feel a lot fresher of course but is it really unhygienic to switch to every other day? (And for my partner is it gross?!)

No you don’t have to. More like full shower alternate days. Ever since I heard Vivienne Westwood say she stopped showering each day just wash your bits and go. I’ve done the same. (Although she takes it to the extreme).

I work for the NHS and take a shower when I come off shift. Has to be done.

I have non shower days on weekends when I lounge

Working week I always go out in morning for with gym/swim/run so would be rank if I didn't

As long as pits and bits are done it's fine

I have a cool shower every day just using the handheld spray for pits and bits, the rest of my body doesn’t get wet. I only use soap on the rest of my body once a week. I wash my hair 2-3 times a week. And I have to moisturise my whole body after every full shower. If I had a full shower every day I’d be itchy as anything.
