DD is 8, yesterday she was complaining of stomach pain and nausea but was out playing most of the day.

This morning she was doubled over in the fetal position, after calpol she felt better and wanted to go to school. I said to her to get the school to call me if the pain returned. Heard nothing until husband picked her up (im working) and shes still in alot of pain but she says it comes and goes.
She had asked the school to call me as she said she was walking crouched with the pain and they said no ( thats another story!!)

Anyways got her a doctor app which husband took her to, he called to tell me doc said she is fine as when she pressed there was no pain.

Hes back home with her and shes in pain again hanging over the toilet saying shes going to be sick.

This is unlike her, and im worried its appendicitis. But also aware the doctor checked her out only half an hour ago.

Talk me down....

Sounds a lot like the pain I get with kidney stones.

I agree with pps. A and E.

My son had appendicitis and it didn't present with typical symptoms. Walking hunched over was one of them.

Even family members thought I was over reacting but I took him to a and e and he was operated on that evening. Luckily it hadn't ruptured.

How is she doing, op?

The doctor bashing in this thread is appalling. It's not an easy diagnosis and 30% of those removed are actually normal so just because it was removed doesn't always mean it was appendicitis. If it gets worse, go back

My DD was 11 with appendicitis. Pain in the middle. Her appendix was behind everything because she's narrow.

When you drive do the vibrations hurt her?

I have a thread on here from then if you do an advanced search. We got sent back from A&E once and the second time I was better prepared with blood tests etc ordered by local doc.

Both the blood test place and the doctor rang me late in the evening to say go now.

I hope your daughter is ok OP. How is she doing?

I had terrible problems with abdominal pain as a child and was often at the doctors. I wonder if I had abdominal migraines as I get the usual head type now.
