Would you trust a female who at age 17 got these two convictions -

  • breach of the peace domestic
  • assault to injury domestic

And then at 19 got these two convictions -

  • communications act domestic
  • drink driving

Would you trust her? She is 30 now and has had no issues with the law since and has seemed to turn her life around. Would you still think she was the same person though inherently?

Nobody should judge anyone else.
Trust is a personal issue ,balanced on your own experience in life and what the other person has shown to you.

Hadn’t rtft when I asked about context.

To be a social worker? Absolutely. Someone with a problematic upbringing and earlier life could become an excellent social worker if they were motivated. A job where empathy is vital, I’d have thought.

I'd be their friend but I wouldn't leave my dc with them.

Tbh I'm surprised they were able to get on a social work course with those convictions, and I imagine they may affect how easy it is for them to get a job.
