I already know i'll be told IABU.. Blush

I know he is a bit of a twat sometimes but I can excuse that.

There's something about him..

I bet it's huge too

I think his comment re pandas offended a few people. I put him on a par with Andy Peter's (annoying)

EssexLioness · 05/04/2021 20:41

I agree @GlutenFreeGingerCake, can’t believe people are still calling him arrogant, or lacking in sense of humour when he is autistic and likely that’s why he seems this way in crowded stressful situations. Very disabling attitude and one I find disappointing as autistic myself.

Theluggage15 · 05/04/2021 20:41

If he has a problem with crowds and signings then he should just not do them rather than be rude to people. He was rude to someone when answering a question on stage at his question and answer spot. Again, instead of being rude and arrogant then don’t do a q and a.

EssexLioness · 05/04/2021 20:42

Disablist, not disabling.... silly autocorrect!

EssexLioness · 05/04/2021 20:43

Autism sometimes comes across as seemingly rude

musicalfrog · 05/04/2021 20:45

He's wonderful. He gives so much of himself to further his cause. He is next in line to the David Attenborough crown and he deserves the same respect. The way he communicates is so clear, passionate and poetic, one cannot help but be drawn in. Blush

Pebbles16 · 05/04/2021 20:51

Sadly he was responsible for my #metoo moment (about 30 odd years ago) so he's not my top choice of attractive people

This. I see it everyday with my DH. Baffles me how people can still say Chris is rude and arrogant when they know he's ASD. It's like they choose not to hear/see it, just so they can dislike him.

I do find him appealing. There's something about him Blush

Zerrin13 · 05/04/2021 22:08

We went to the same secondary school. When I was a kid he would fly his kestrel around our local area and we were all fascinated by it. In the 80's we used to go to the same clubs. He asked me out when I was 20 but I just wasn't interested in those days?? He has been obsessed with wildlife all of his life and I watch all of his programs. I still don't fancy him though!

opinionminion · 05/04/2021 22:12

I've seen him at one of his University talks ... and have a photo of us ... he was terribly polite, have to say I think we made a lovely coupleGrin definitely something about him aka Travolta imho Wink

allthegoodusernameshavegone · 05/04/2021 22:20

I absolutely agree that he is very intelligent and talented, I love watching his wildlife programmes and was impressed by his documentary on autism. The op is about him being attractive, on each of the occasions I have met him through work he has been an arrogant arse, not a trait some will find attractive.

JackieWeaverHandforthCouncil · 05/04/2021 22:27

I don’t fancy him but he’s certainly no ‘twat’. He has integrity and really cares about the environment and animals.

Mountainpika · 05/04/2021 22:30

I've especially enjoyed seeing him and his step-daughter together. They clearly have a very close bond.

moochingtothepub · 05/04/2021 23:02

Loved him when I was a teen and he presented the really wild show. He's great.

UturnUna · 05/04/2021 23:28

He looks gorgeous now and was back in the day. I think he's got some seriously good and important messages to convey too so I hope he gets only positive attention from the press.

KurtWilde · 05/04/2021 23:34

Yes he is, always has been. I had a major crush on him when he was on Really Wild Show and he's aged beautifully Grin

bonfireheart · 05/04/2021 23:37

A few years ago we were out and DD maybe she was 10 at the time was stood next to him for ages and could tell something was up from my face, she came running over to me to ask what was up and then I said that's Chris Packham. "Who, mummy?" I felt so old!

Lalliella · 05/04/2021 23:42

Intelligent, integritous (possibly not a word), brave and gorgeous, pretty much the perfect man!

Tillygetsit · 06/04/2021 00:02

He is a top bloke. I can really see why he's fanciable and I admire his passion and commitment but he's not physically my type.

CounsellorTroi · 06/04/2021 00:20

Intelligence and passion about one's subject is so sexy. He also loves dogs, is a great photographer and could give me lessons, and likes a fine whisky apparently. Nothing not to like!
