I am quite disgusted with myself. I've eaten a whole Cadbury's Easter egg this morning, as well as a creme egg. I've also had two scones with jam and cream BlushBlushBlush

How much weight am I likely to have gained from that? Please, tell me I'm not the only one and others have been gluttonous too Confused

@SchrodingersImmigrant

Problem is that lots of chocolate is frankly disgusting lately. You can taste the fat/oil in it. And bluegh at creme eggs which used to be nice. Sad times.

So luckily me not liking most chocolate and not really having sweet tooth means I can just enjoy something not so bad and just a bit😁 Finally having the weirdo taste buds pays off! Muahahhahaa

I only bother with 85%+ dark chocolate. Anything else like the odd mini creme egg and I instantly remember why I only bother with the proper stuff.
queenofthelamas · 04/04/2021 20:56

Oh gosh you've eaten chocolate, that's terrible. Personally I only provide my family and myself with organic vegetables for Easter treats. We nibble on carrot sticks which just hits the spot. How anyone could eat a chocolate egg is beyond me

SmashedAvocado · 04/04/2021 22:09

Well I ate mine, refused to share it with anyone. Enjoyed it at the time. It was a largish Belgian chocolate one, quite thick as well.

Honestly I could throw up now Envy

BigSandyBalls2015 · 04/04/2021 22:12

None as I’m not keen on sweet stuff but I’ve had a vat full of roasties, cauli cheese etc 😋

BlackeyedSusan · 04/04/2021 23:45

None. Weighed myself and no chocolate for me for a while as treats last week and less walking

GertrudePerkinsPaperyThing · 04/04/2021 23:47

None - I didn’t really feel like any!

Had two puddings though so think I’m doing ok Grin

ScrambledSmegs · 04/04/2021 23:52

Thanks to it being a migraine trigger, none Sad.

caringcarer · 04/04/2021 23:53

One Easter egg with 2 cream eggs in. Yes I ate it all cream eggs too.

HearMeSnore · 05/04/2021 00:04

One creme egg. My lowest consumption of chocolate on an Easter Sunday ever.

I did, however, have a hot cross bun, a massive roast dinner (with seconds), 3 glasses of wine, a Cornetto, and cold roast lamb sandwiches with crisps and salad for supper. No wonder I had no room for chocolate... 😳

PigletJohn · 05/04/2021 00:26

Nsky · 05/04/2021 00:45

Nearly a box of hotel chocolat mini eggs, two mini Aldi ones too.
It’s all going in the bin tomm am, too much temptation left overs, I need to lose about 5 lbs

Rollmopsrule · 05/04/2021 05:34

I'm bit Hmm about the posters that come on a thread about chocolate to say they don't eat it because they like to stay in shape or they simply don't eat chocolate or sweets....ever! It's not the thread for you lot.
I ate loads op and enjoyed every single scrap of it. No guilt or regrets.

Marriagegoingtoimplode · 05/04/2021 05:44

@OhhOkay I didn’t even think such things existed! What country are you in?
OhhOkay · 05/04/2021 06:43

drpet49 · 05/04/2021 07:18

2 Easter eggs, cheesecake, roast dinner, cheese and biscuits

OP you sound a bit irrational with your food choices.

Thedarksideofthemoon30 · 05/04/2021 07:29

SomethingToldTheWildGeese · 05/04/2021 07:40

1large lindt choc bunny,
1 bar montezuma choc,
2 choc fairy cakes,
2 choc hot cross buns

  • that was my choc intake yesterday (not including other sweet treats and a lush dinner 😋)
Pheebs2021 · 05/04/2021 07:48

We ate a Cheesecake Easter Egg half from a local cake maker. It was lovely.

ZooeyS · 05/04/2021 08:20

I deliberately ate some of dd’s Lindt bunny (she offered) and a huge slice of Nigella’s chocolate cloud cake. And I mean massive.

I accidentally ate an entire tube of mini eggs while supervising the Easter egg hunt.

TheRogueApostrophe · 05/04/2021 08:53

I held out during the day knowing that I'd appreciate it more in the evening when I could sit eating undisturbed! I had two reasonable size pieces of simnel cake and half (only because I want it to last) a cadbury's Easter egg.

shivawn · 05/04/2021 10:10

I didn't get given any easter eggs, I didnt give any out either though, my family and husband usually don't bother!

I worked yesterday in the hospital though and patients families sent us in so many boxes of chocolates! I have no idea how much I ate but I was picking away at Milk Tray, Celebrations and Cadbury Roses all day!

lazylinguist · 05/04/2021 19:00

I had a small bit of ds' Green&Black's Easter egg. Only the dc get Easter eggs in our house! I love chocolate, but I don't eat more of it at Easter than any other time tbh.

LondonSE · 05/04/2021 19:56

A couple of mini Kinder animals
