I am quite disgusted with myself. I've eaten a whole Cadbury's Easter egg this morning, as well as a creme egg. I've also had two scones with jam and cream BlushBlushBlush

How much weight am I likely to have gained from that? Please, tell me I'm not the only one and others have been gluttonous too Confused

OP posts:
FluffyBlueJumper · 04/04/2021 13:05

None. Bloody keto diet Grin
I did have lots of cheese instead.

Aprilx · 04/04/2021 13:06

I have broken off a piece about 1cm by 4cm, that is my lot so far.

Crankley · 04/04/2021 13:06

I boycott palm oil so no Cadburys chocolate for me. I'm currently munching my way through a box of Leonidas mini eggs. Very yummy they are too.

Fuckitfuckit · 04/04/2021 13:06

I ate 2 little big city bunnies from hotel chocolat, and I've had 2/3rd of a Ferrero rocher. I'd promised the dog a bit if he came in and stopped trying to bother the neighbours.

I got a lot of good quality chocolate so I didn't inhale it all at once (because I don't really like it!) The Ferrero rocher were a surprise and ill inhale them ALL later in the day =)

ClarkeGriffin · 04/04/2021 13:07

@Nohomemadecandles

I've had a nibble. I'll make a risotto tomorrow with a quarter of an egg, use a quarter for sandwiches and make stock with the leftovers.
GrinGrin

I've not had any, yet. But I've got two, plus my partners as he won't eat Easter egg chocolate because he thinks it doesn't taste nice (he's a complete freak I know). I know i will definitely eat one tonight.

wandawaves · 04/04/2021 13:07

I'll join you OP. I've had a whole caramilk bunny, and have been snacking regularly throughout the day on mini Cadbury eggs, and mini malteaster bunnies.
And a hot cross bun for brekky.

StanfordPines · 04/04/2021 13:08

I looked at a picture of an Easter egg and that was enough for me. I’ll have to cut down on my lettuce leaves to make up for it though.
I don’t know how you can live with yourself op.

In seriousness though, can’t we even have a friendly thread like this without the MN food police turning up and being virtuous about stuff.

StanfordPines · 04/04/2021 13:09

Waits for the ‘this is why we have an obesity epidemic’ posts.

Noauthorityhere · 04/04/2021 13:10

Both DH and I have eaten a whole egg each. I'm feeling a little bit sick! DS is rinsing through his egg hunt eggs - it's the first time we've let him just go for it. Hes having a great time. It's just one day, screw it!

likeamillpond · 04/04/2021 13:11

Nothing.
DH left it till the last day to buy me an Easter egg and there were none left.
Angry
and I love Easter egg chocolate.

shouldistop · 04/04/2021 13:12

You won’t gain any weight from one morning of ‘bad’ choices - no more than you would lose any weight from eating one salad for lunch.

^ this

To answer your question, my 4yo gave me one of his mini cream eggs from his hunt so I've had that.

shouldistop · 04/04/2021 13:12

I'm having pizza for lunch though

Alsohuman · 04/04/2021 13:13

None yet but the two boxes of champagne truffles I was given this morning will definitely be breached this evening.

Strangekindofwoman · 04/04/2021 13:13

@TheRealForReal

None. I work hard to stay in shape so very rarely eat crap.
Live a little.
likeamillpond · 04/04/2021 13:14

What do shops do with leftover Easter eggs.
Can't they keep some back for last minute merchants, people like my DH to buy?

allycat4 · 04/04/2021 13:15

I've had a bacon sandwich and am looking forward to a lamb roast. Plus chocolate. Easter is a feasting day! You don't gain weight from a day of feasting.

Caspianberg · 04/04/2021 13:15

No chocolate yet, but hot cross buns for breakfast. There’s a Lindt rabbit with my name on that I’m sure I will open up later on

GoLightlyontheEarth · 04/04/2021 13:16

None. I usually buy them for other people but not this year .

YellowandGreenToBeSeen · 04/04/2021 13:18

None and none in the house.

kowari · 04/04/2021 13:18

Two 35g bars of dark chocolate
Also a hot cross bun with butter, a banana, handful of grapes and two black coffees.

Bagelsandbrie · 04/04/2021 13:18

Wow so many people saying none! It’s Easter! Live a bit!!

I’ve eaten a whole share bar of milkybar and about 4 hotel chocolat chocolates. Absolutely delicious, all of it. Will polish a few more odd as the day goes on.

Going out for a 2 hour country walk in a bit so not in the slightest bit sorry about the chocolate I’ve eaten!

Brokenrecord3006 · 04/04/2021 13:18

None! We actually forgot to get any chocolate for DH and I, thankfully we got DS an egg a while back so he has something.

ForgedInFire · 04/04/2021 13:18

I've only had 2 little Lidnt balls and a nibble of my DDs Kinder egg (because she only cares about the toy) but I've had a bacon sandwich and I'm having a cheesecake with chocolate on it for dessert. I love chocolate but only really in the evenings so ill sit down to it tonight Easter Smile

LadyCatStark · 04/04/2021 13:19

A creme egg, an orange malteaser chocolate bunny and an Cadbury’s orange mousse bunny thing. It has Peter rabbit packaging and is clearly aimed at little kids but it’s the best chocolate ever and I bought the last one from the shop with not one single care. Sorry kids 😂

MrsWP · 04/04/2021 13:19

None.

Will maybe have a square later after dinner.

Care more this year about getting the weight shifted.

Won't say it's not a test today though - surround by DCs various eggs and treats!
