To think I can report boss for ‘fun illegal’ flight?

Namechanged as outing. My boss announced to the team today that he’s flying out of the country with his wife this weekend. ‘Bit of a fun illegal flight’ he said. He’s previously laughed about attending parties during lockdown. He’s an overpromoted wankbadger at the best of times and seems to revel in telling us these stories glorying in what an absolute untouchable don he is.

But he’s right isn’t he... There’s nothing we can actually do? Me and two other team members are absolutely gunning to report at this stage, but, as his little underlings, we don’t even know his address (I think that’s how people usually report?) We’ve also considered going more senior within the business but there’s only one guy above him and they’re bff bros and top guy has form for having ignored (if anything bonded over!) previous complaints - by others/ on other topics about this same guy Confused. Thoughts? I should also say the nature of our business is sort of PR/ political - the brazen hypocrisy makes my eyes water!
@PhilCornwall1 knowing some of the accounts about Derbyshire police, I would not put it past them.
They did go through my thoughts when I read the original post.

Honesty I never knew so many people were itching to report folks until I used this forum, every single day there’s someone wanting to report someone for some bullshit or another, Covid, school places, this, it’s mind boggling.

Who exactly are you going to report him to?

100% agree. Why can't people mind their own business and live their own lives? Who knew how many curtain twitching, busybodies there were just itching for an excuse to report their neighbours, or anyone to the police for the slightest thing.

No it's not become more "responsible" at all @IntermittentParps it's become a nation of people arguing on the internet, no nuance and no in depth understanding of issues, knee jerk reactions, cancel culture, stalking, blackmailing, comparing, snooping and "reporting" people. This guy hasn't even taken a flight yet and people are baying for the OP to "report him" Hmm

I don’t see how he can go on a fun flight without being logged somewhere. Any plan landing anywhere will contain a list of passengers, if he goes somewhere requiring 10 days quarantine on return and he doesn’t observe it that would be when I raised my concerns, is he actually landing or just going for a flight taking off and landing in the uk only (not exactly staying local but not needing quarantine?)

I think that you overestimate the competence of the Home Office.

Unless it's a red list country, he may well just be waved through arrivals without so much as a glance at (never mind collection of) his PLF.
