My sd is 7 years old and dh thinks there is something wrong with her because she can’t remember her toddler years. She can’t remember going to nursery where she went everyday for 2 years and she can’t remember when she met me for the first time (she was almost 3).
I work with children and don’t think she is particularly unusual but dh is beginning to obsess about it.
She is a happy and healthy little girl, there is no trauma or anything in her past but she just can’t seem to remember anything past about 2 years ago. Is this unusual?

Some people have better memories then others.

My son can remember every little thing, honestly I swear he remembers being in the hospital when he was bornGrin he has a Brilliant memory and can recite conversations from years ago word for word which can be very annoying Grin he once pointed out a relative he had met for 1 minute when he was 3 when he was 6! I was totally shocked as was the relative! He never forgets a face either.

Where as my girl lives in her own little dream world she is 8 years old, but honestly if asked she would have trouble remembering what she did 10 minutes ago Grin
