I'm in bed feeling like shit after the vaccine. Shivering and fever. Husband goes to chippy as he doesn't cook and I can't and thought I might manage a few chips (said in a wavering pathetic voice). He got me some. No salt and vinegar. I'm so upset. I'm going to give up on today and go to sleep. How about you?

I changed my bedding yesterday and enjoyed a nice night in lovely fresh bedding. My period started unexpectedly (and very heavy) overnight so now I need to strip it all off again and put the spare set on (which I don't like as much as the one I had on). Sad

sainsburys just delivered my shopping. They have squashed my hazelnut croissants, they are flat as a pancake. AngrySad

I bought some new wax melts which smelled lovely in the wrapping, they've been on burning now for a few hours and I can't smell them 🥺

Still searching for the perfect wax melts

MrsBDarcy · 26/03/2021 17:34

Oh no to clean bedding being replaced. That's hard work. I feel like I've climbed a mountain when I've changed the bed..

bleurghh - chips when feeling unwell - yuk

low level disappointment - wanted new joggers, ended up ordering late night. Arrived, they are unisex (it did say that in the description) - so if I hold them up against me they come up past my armpits - also revoltingly baggy with really thick bunchy material around the waist.

Who on earth thought that designing these was a good idea, or that if selling trousers for anyone between 5ft and 6ft+ it didn't occur to them that offering different leg lengths would be a good idea?

Hope that you're feeling better soon.

Asda delivered my Easter eggs, 4 out of 8 were smashed and boxes torn, upside they refunded up-upside we get to eat the broken eggs downside I’m dieting so we becomes he gets to eat broken eggs

MrsBDarcy · 27/03/2021 11:05

I've given up chocolate for lent too so there's not even any chocolate compensation. I'd be secretly pleased at broken eggs as long as I was near a shop to replace them.
Chips when feeling rough- I was low level rough after feeling dreadful earlier and felt I needed carbs. No fish or pie or anything. Just chips and mushy peas. Without salt and vinegar not worth eating though. I'm disappointed all over again now!

Bottle of hoisin sauce smashed in my Morrison's delivery. All over the shopping and leaked onto my new carpet. Pissed off.

SomethingNastyInTheBallPool · 27/03/2021 15:25

Creme Egg Easter egg replaced with a Heroes one in my Morrison’s order. Bah.

MrsBDarcy · 27/03/2021 19:18

@LysistrataVickers oh no! Sorry to hear that. That's really annoying not low level. Hope it comes out ok.

Hazelnut croissants, you say?

LysistrataVickers · 27/03/2021 20:10

@MrsBDarcy thank you it has come out. I took photos and sent them to Morrison's with a long ranty email though! This happens about 25% of the time with my deliveries and I'm sick of it. Last time it was vinegar Angry the worst one was oil because it wouldn't wash off everything easily. Going to give up on them soon. They used to be so good.
