On MN, it’s clearly It’s usually used in two ways - po-faced, stick up the crack disapproval of something that’s actually pretty normal or incongruous; or used on its own to say ‘I think you’re a troll, won’t say it out loud because I don’t want my post deleted, but have to let you know I think that, because I couldn’t possibly just keep my gob shut’. It is quite useful though, because it indicates that the user is someone I’d walk under buses to avoid.
