the dribbly mouth emoji. I find it slightly off putting for some reason. It's usually posted alongside some delicious looking food, but it always puts me off the food a bit!

Agreed. I’ve never seen anyone use it who didn’t mean, 1. “Oh, I’m being a cute cheeky monkey,” OR 2. “My DC is such a cheeky monkey,” when usually, 1. they were being a total fecking idiot, or, 2. the DC was acting a complete brat.

I’m also not a fan of 🤗 @Lonelycrab. I know people use it to represent a hug, but the last thing I want when I’ve just shared bad news is an emoji hug from tiny deformed jazz hands.

Yes! This too, when it's just sent in reply with no other texts. My DD's dad used to do it when I sent him a long ranty text about what an arse he was being. I'd literally just get that back, with no response to any of my questions. Infuriating!
