To ask what the acceptable time is for kids being in the trampoline on the garden on a weekend?

Next door's kids were out at 8am on the trampoline. Neighbour on their other side is hoping I'll kick off about it with her (we are friendly and she messaged me). But I think 8am is actually ok, but no sooner. I CBA with a neighbourly dispute (plus my kids are gobshites any given day of the week)

Thoughts on an acceptable time?

@MagicSummer

Never - most annoying things ever invented with the constant bounce, bounce, squeak, squeak, bounce, bounce, etc.!!!
The place my aunt lives in decide d to have a trampoline in the communal garden so every family doesn't have to get their own. It is located next to my aunt's backyard and it's squeak from 8am till 10pm. Incredibly annoying sound. She is a retired teacher and feels like she is monitoring recess. She is also wondering if the kids are about to do something incredibly stupid if she should stop them.

My parents live in an area with a lot of families and they are the only ones that don't have a trampoline. The houses are not attached and the fences have grown so that you can't see the trampoline anymore. Suddenly you start hearing a squeak and while the neighbours only do it few hours a day, it is damn annoying and we really feel for our aunt.

Obviously it is everyone's right to jump on trampolines and if you can't handle noise from neighbours you need to move to the woods. But the squeak is damn annoying.

I don’t usually let mine out till about 10am

I would have no issue with my neighbours out on there’s at that time. We are always up t 5-6am so wouldn’t be disturbing us. But I wouldn’t let my own just because I wouldn’t want to pee the neighbours off. I let mine out from around 9.30am - 10am.

I think it's too early but I still wouldn't feel it's early enough to complain about

Perveen personally I agree 100% about silence but am aware that is not our societal ‘contract’ with each other.

10am in my opinion, and that's early in my book! Actually my neighbours kids have a trampoline and aren't noisy, they aren't shriekers, so it does depend on the kids, shouting is not really on ever, but normal level noise 10am til 8pm is acceptable
