To ask if free school meals should be abolished?

Yes, they should be abolished. We should live in a society where everyone has enough income and the financial sense to balance that income so that they are able to provide for their children (and themselves of course). "Free" school meals (they're not actually free by the way) are a sign that as a society we've failed.

I agree that in an ideal world that everyone would have enough money and financial sense but in reality that will never happen. Even if minimum wage was raised, there will be some people who choose to only work part time or not at all, and not everyone is capable of having good financial sense. So free school meals will always be needed for those children and shouldn’t be abolished.
