To think you can judge a man by what porn he looks at?

For example some men look at videos, extreme porn. While some look at images only of woman by themselves. Does it depend on the man?

@LucieStar the question was "to think you can judge a man by the kind of porn he watches".

You answered: "
"I tend to judge a man by his personality and how well he treats people. But that might just be me... 🤷‍♀️"
So my understanding is you don't judge a man by the type of porn he watches. So I made the point that the way people are treated in porn should be included in your judgement of how someone treats people. You later said you had misread the op. I didn't see that comment as I was writing mine before you posted yours (was getting dd ready for school at the same time so it took me a while). I stand by what I said. I find it really upsetting that so many people are oblivious to horrors that many people (mainly women and children) experience in porn.

@AntiHop

I'm pleased you read my later comment, too, then, in which I corrected my answer after reading the OP correctly.

Can you also apply this to women? It’s not exclusive to men. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Of course you can. OP was asking about men specifically though, presumably OP chooses men as partners and has no interest for n judging women as they are not potential partners for OP

There is no sexist angle here, if that's what you are looking for.

I'd say on the whole, women are probably far less likely to watch the violent or abusive variety though.

We answered from different angles, that's all. You answered based on your understanding of the wider ethical issues in relation to the industry; I answered based on how it would make me feel to be around a person aroused to sexually deviant (and presumably illegal) images. [/quote]
Yes my own personal hangover, courtesy of an extended furlough, and probably I should not drink so much or I'll be an alcoholic by the time i return to work, anyway.

My discussion re the wider issues means that anyone, man or woman who views porn means that porn continues and women and children and animals are hurt by this. Therefore I judge them for not thinking this through and minimising the whole thing, especially if they minimise on the grounds that they personally only ever view bland stuff.
And thank you for explaining further.

I judge (harshly) all men who look at ANY porn. It’s degrading, dehumanizing, exploitative and misogynistic.

I cannot relate at all to women who don’t see how damaging it is.

This thread has made me chuckle My BIL lived with us a while back and he was great... until one morning I walked downstairs to "hot scratching videos" playing on the tv and he's there with his knob hanging out... nearly died from the shock! It was literally a woman scratching herself... he had to go I'm afraid 😂
For some reason I was picturing videos of oven hot pork scratchings Grin Grin
