To find Grand Design’s Kevin very attractive ?

Kevin McCloud has become my guilty pleasure during lockdown. Despite the jaunty scarves ! Are there any other ladies out there lusting after Kevin ?

I used to really fancy George Clarke, but yeah he's aged like a Bay City Roller.

I do like Kevin, but he does remind me a bit of my FIL so I can't fancy him either.

Simon Reeve just has the best attitude to life; I think that's what makes him attractive. That and when he's in a hot place and has to take his top off to use it as a kayak or something... Grin

Yes. At least 2 companies he has fronted have gone bust leaving investors in the s**t.

Nah not a huge Kevin fan, love the show though. Agree George Clarke was hot but not so much now. I do however like Charlie Luxton, not sure if I fancy him though, just comes across as a nice guy in the show (Building the Dream).

There was a review in the Guardian where they referred to him as 'Kevin McCloud: the voice of death' because he's always so negative about everything and contrasted him to George's puppy dog enthusiasm. The same article also referenced George's sidekick, Will Hardy, as 'Britain's most erratically dressed man'. Both of these comments still make me laugh. And for the record, I'd happily entertain either Kevin or George in my building site caravan, but Will can fuck right off...

Kevin mccloud comes across as a bit superior and uses too many poncy words to describe a house (that usually looks similar to the one the previous week)
theres literally a check list for grand designs

  • state budget
-start build
  • discover the woman is pregnant
-live in caravan
  • poor weather (ie standard British winter) causes calamitous delay to the project
  • run out of money
  • have 3 ton specialised triple glazed windows delivered from germany
  • have baby
  • find an extra 120k from mystery funds
  • finish house and furnish 3000 square ft house with 3 pieces of furniture and a lamp.

I had a bizarre dream about Kevin.

I dreamt that I was sitting on a park bench minding my own business when he came and sat next to me. We chatted for a bit and then he took my hand and said come-on then let's go (intimating that we would go and "make love"). I said what about the kids. He said they will be fine.

They were 7, 8 and 13 at the time and of all the guys, why him? Why couldn't it have been George?
