1. We're in fucking lockdown;
2. They are shouting, screaming and whooping;
3. I'm volunteering at a vaccination centre tomorrow morning and want to have an early night.

Oh, who mentioned fireworks up thread. Last week in my village, someone posted on the community page thing,, a frequent moany villager,, she said, did any one hear that firework at 9 pm, just one firework apparently,. she said it scared my two cats, and I am so annoyed and angry, and I am going to try and find out, who let the firework off.!

Lots of amusing replies to her post though, as she is known for her nit picking and moaning type posting,

My neighbours sometimes have guests iver for a loud get together even though government say no to household visits. Annoys me as my kids go to school with theirs, and I know they mix with other households. In fairness they go quiet by 11pm but arecstill up causing a racket when my kids are trying to sleep.

Why don't you report them then.....? If they are breaking the rules and also this puts you and yours family at risk?? If you call 101 they won't know who's called!?

This. Some of us haven't seen our families for months. Or been able to hold proper funerals. Or grieve together. And yet other selfish idiots carry on like OP's neighbours.
