I have a birthday coming up and I can't think of a goddam thing that I want (besides my freedom!) and I am being quizzed by my siblings and parents. I'm 34, have 2 small children (3 and under). No special hobbies (atleast no time anyway)

So what have you brought recently that I may also love 😍

A projector for movie nights in the garden!
I can hook it up to my chrome cast, so easy to use and we got loooads of use out of it until winter set in. Looking forward to getting it out again soon.

My parents bought me one of those giant, oversized, fleecy hoodies for Christmas. It is absolutely my favourite thing ever.

Two things recently - a posh Molton Brown hand cream in rhubarb and rose (a gift) which smells and feels absolutely delicious. And some bonkers rainbow pyjamas I bought myself recently from Shein.

Black opium!!Can't remember the last time I had a decent perfume

Opal93 · 13/03/2021 20:18

The last gift I received was on Valentine’s Day. I couldn’t think what I wanted but there was beautiful bedding and a large throw I had been eyeing up so he bought me that. It was such a lovely gift. He also surprised me to a savoury antipasto box from a local business and it was a delicious treat. I am trying to kick an online shopping addiction and haven’t bought myself anything for a month which is big for me! I am saving each week for an expensive perfume I covet, but the difference will be I’ve saved for it and it’s a treat rather than an impulse purchase.

A chimenea for the garden. I love it x

Dh bought me a silver necklace with an elephant pendant. He always buys secondhand jewellery from eBay etc and he has excellent taste. He almost always chooses something I like. This wee elephant is just the right weight and it's so tactile. I just love it.

My kids have bought me a qudo ring and some nice gold earrings. I just bought a bag made out of ring pulls, which I love. Best lockdown purchase was my big duvet coat

@imovethestarsforno1

my birthday is in two weeks my husband has bought me an ooddie i know this because it arrived in a parcel with oodie all over it i am very excited for no more freezing cold trips to the garden with star pup. He also got me a soda stream for christmas and one year he got me a coffe percolator. These gifts make up for the very first birthday gift he got me of a marmite branded flask "because you really like marmite"
@imovethestarsforno1 what is an oodle?

Elemis cleansing balm. It smells divine and lasts for ages. I ask for it every Birthday and Christmas.

Niche I know , but I got some Flexars riding leggings that I practically live in. So so comfortable , and no more bloody buttons digging in at the waistband anymore . And they’re windproof as well , so when I take the hounds out for a decent walk, my legs aren’t frozen , even if it’s wet and windy .
