WRT Reid, somebody said this on another thread and it is so true that it needs to be repeated:

I am astonished that Reid colludes in it. Guests can be challenged and questioned without the mocking and ridicule.

Jesus Christ, I accidentally turned this on this morning as I was getting ready. Why is everyone so bloody shouty? Morgan shouts so I guess the others all have to shout to be heard over him. I switched off after about a minute. I have to be eased gently in to the morning. Don’t know how anyone can watch it.

But when he first met MM she wasn't with PH, that's the bit I don't get. I don't know what he would have gained from befriending an American actress that not many people in the UK had heard of. They didn't have contact after she met PH.

Why does ITV exist? To make money. How do they do that? By selling advertising. How do they maximise that? Number of viewers. How do they increase viewers? In the case of GMB, faux news and bullshit controversy. If you watch, you're complicit. By all means feed the beast, but when you give them your eyes you're part of the problem.

Lol He was probably flattered that a young, beautiful actress gave him the time of day. He was a fan of Suits and they were in touch on Twitter When she came to London they met up at a pub and had a drink. She started dating Harry. Piers was praising her on GMB saying that Meghan was beautiful, intelligent and would be a great addition to the Royal Family. Piers presumably believed that he and Meghan were ‘besties’ and he would have access to her. When she cut him off ( presumably because she was advised to) Piers got in his feelings and has spent years trying to destroy her

Pipe up? They were all airing their views, it's not like he burst onto the set and demanded air time to speak on the subject. Alex expressed his views in an articulate manner and astutely pulled PM up on his disgusting behaviour. Instead of using what little brain cells he has to form a reasoned argument back, he threw a toddler tantrum. If PM can't hold his ground against a lowly 'weatherman' then maybe he should find a new career.

But his MO isn't reasoned debate, it's bully boy tactics, shouting and looking like he's about to burst a blood vessel.
