Just this really .Cant see how you could spend such a sum doing up a flat! More than a small house in some areas ! This is not a thread about the rights and wrongs of funding (thats a separate issue clearly!) Just seems so much !

The only person who will benefit from that is his fiancee Carrie Symonds, as Boris Johnson cannot have a mistress whilst in number 10.

I think that’s unlikely to be a problem for a proven adulterer.

I can't see why you'd choose to spend £200k on a flat that isn't yours. Particularly when he was whinging that he's broke.
