[quote underneaththeash]I had the oxford vaccine in January and couldn't even remember the following day which arm I'd had it in. No side effects at all!

Remember if you do have side effects to fill in a yellow card report.

I thought it's just if you have different ones than on the paperBlush

Thanks :)

I had the pfizer this morning and apart from a really sore arm I'm fine.
I know quite a few people who have been vaccinated and it seems to be that people who've had the Oxford vaccine are the ones with side effects where as no one I know who's had pfizer has had any.

I had the Oxford/AZ vaccine and I was rough for four days, 8 hours after jab I had chills and fever, went to bed, woke up feeling like I had the flu (I had proper flu 3 years ago), spent all day in bed, the following 24 hours I slept, and had stomach cramps, woke up the next day with the worst migraine I have ever had, 24 hours just tired but managed, day 5 was back to normal. My parents both had the Oxford/AZ a week later, were fatigued and sore arm, but fine. They both have the flu vaccination yearly. I haven't had one in 20 years so think it played a part. Apparently the second jab has more side effects, but it's better than getting covid!

Yes I had Oxford and within 4 hrs felt spaced out and dizzy. Then for next 3 days felt muscle aches, headaches, nausea, tiredness, chills and lost appetite. Very mild version of when I had actual covid over Christmas. Also lump in my arm from vaccine has only gone down 3 weeks later. Dreading the second dose tbh.

I had Oxford and had nothing other than a slight ache in my arm. My husband also had it and felt a bit tired and sick the next day but not too bad.

When I was given it they said that it seems to be the people who have already had Covid who get the worst side effects from the jab.

My DH, adult daughter and several older relatives have all had AZ jab. Minimal side effects - just the odd achy arm the next day.
