AIBU to have a coffee? What if I want one? Surely that's ok?

Lynora · 21/02/2021 14:56

Eh?

AndreaMartelsCoat · 21/02/2021 14:58

Who's said you can't have a coffee?

Can you make me one whilst you're at it please.

ChristOnAPeloton · 21/02/2021 14:59

YABU for vague Mumsnetting.

Hohoholymoley · 21/02/2021 15:01

Do you not know what's going on in the world? How selfish to have a coffee. Who do you think you are?

Shaniac · 21/02/2021 15:02

I have a caramel syrup to go in my coffee its lush.

DishedUp · 21/02/2021 15:02

Why can't you have a coffee?

FelicityPike · 21/02/2021 15:03

Of course not (!) how rude.
Hmm

Biancadelrioisback · 21/02/2021 15:03

What a daft post...

Beaniecats · 21/02/2021 15:03

Not round here buy a coffee and covid police jump on you

MaliceOrgan · 21/02/2021 15:04

If you put that kettle on then I'm calling the police and the army on you.

Sparklesocks · 21/02/2021 15:05

Well yes of course. Unless you have some sort of debilitating coffee allergy in which case it might be a bad idea.

BerniesMittens · 21/02/2021 15:05

It's illegal to have coffee on any day that ends in a “y”.

BlackeyedSusan · 21/02/2021 15:06

Depends...if you are having a coffee instead of not feeding your autistic child* maybe

*They know where the cereal and fridge is and they have not that long ago had breakfast as they had a long lay in.

Well I've finished my coffee, butter get them some lunch Blush

Snog · 21/02/2021 15:06

Self entitled

VettiyaIruken · 21/02/2021 15:07

YABU
You have to have tea

NewScone · 21/02/2021 15:07

Is there a medical reason you have been advised not to have coffee? If yes then YABU.

BrumBoo · 21/02/2021 15:13

Now I know bringing up previous posts are not usually OK, but I think it's worth bringing to attention that this seems to be some kind of grand sequel thread....

Just so we're clear op, should we expect further installments? Because I guarantee you, its ok to have lunch, and afternoon snack, dinner (or tea if that's your thing) and a glass of wine in the evening if you want. Just to be preemptive.

LagunaBubbles · 21/02/2021 15:15

You must be bored if you think this is meant to be funny.

TroyTown · 21/02/2021 15:16

It depends. Were you planning to have a sandwich with it?

MadeOfStarStuff · 21/02/2021 15:17

What a ridiculous question

grapewine · 21/02/2021 15:18

You are unreasonable for this vagueposting.

merryhouse · 21/02/2021 15:19

@Psba you need to include some context. Whether you are light-heartedly inviting us to join your commentary on screaming toddlers or sulky teens, or are attempting to divine if you are in fact living in an abusive relationship: we cannot tell.

So much this.
1WayOrAnother2 · 21/02/2021 15:25

Perhaps not if you are allergic to coffee?
