Hi, I have read quite a few posts that related to things I want to ask so don't think it will cause too much offence, I hope not anyway.

How if at all, do you keep pubic hair in check, I know some are all or nothing, so wax etc, I had, well it's old now do getting rid, like a lady shave that came with a bikini trimming head/detachable guard, without guard nicks and cuts, not a good idea at all! With guard on, crap!

I want to find a effective way of removing hair on the inside groin area if that makes sense, and something to at least trim pubic hair.
There had been a very long and quite funny post on washing, and some saying that soap, fem fresh etc were all no goes, and I agree but still feel like water is not enough. But if I do use anything it doesn't feel great afterwards so not sure what to do!

I didn't realise that there would be such replies! I have read a lot worse! How many posts have there been on washing, and shaving and waxing and all the rest, how could I have phrased it better then?!

Tbh OP I don't know how ppl are able to 'spot' a perv, but I do find your post odd, you start off talking about grooming tips but next minute your on about what you think about washing? Seems like 2 topics smushed together with no flow. Hmm. Is that how you spot a perv? 🧐

All together now Mumsnet: THIS IS THE WAY.

A cheap disposable lighter from the poundshop. Six for a pound, sorted.

You do need to make sure to be stocked up on germolene 2in1 antiseptic/anaesthetic cream but and luckily the poundshop sells that too.

Unfortunately, it does tend to smell like somebody barbecued the cat but at least it's quick.

Not sure why so many people seem to think this is a weird question...? Compared to many on here it seems entirely pedestrian!

OP, I use Immac (or whatever it's currently called) to get rid of hair beyond the point at which I feel my pubes should extend. I actually just smear it on thick with my hand (and then thoroughly wash my hand) to make sure to cover all of it thoroughly.

Re: pubes themselves I trim them, when I get round to it with scissors. Actually I bought hair clippers during first lockdown to give myself a haircut and I tried those out too, as there didn't seem to be much else going on :-) It worked well for me.

I just do the edges with a weed whacker.

I just pop my merkin in the washer on a hand was cycle. Comes out fresh as a daisy.

I used to go out with The Red Baron - when we got down to it he doused my fanny in brandy and set fire to it, before sticking his head down there. His reasons - "when I go down, I go down in flames"
