To ask what dress size you are

If you’re 5’4 and 8 stone. I’m currently that height and 9 stone a size 12. I’m currently losing weight and would like to be about 8 and a half stone.

I'm 5'4.

If I'm 9.5 stone I'm around a size 8. So if I was 8 stone I'd be around a 4? Which would look absolutely ridiculous on me.

5ft4 and 9 stone, size 8 to 10. If I lost a stone, I’d easily be an 6 - 8.

The PP who mentioned the inconsistency of dress sizing has it spot on.
Are you all taking about a 12 in (for example) Topshop or a 12 in M&S? Dress sizes are not a very useful indicator.

I'm 5'9 and don't weigh myself any more, but based on the fit of my clothes, I'm about 9 stone. I take an 8, or a Small. I find it hard when the size is just small-medium-large, because I'm 5'9! I'm not small at all! I'm tall!

I'm 5ft 4, 9st 3lb and an 8-10. Mostly 8 on top and 10 on bottom because I'm a pear with wideish bum.

I’m a lot fatter than you. Not sure what weight. I was wearing a size 12 pj top and size 20 bottoms last night.

I’m 5’5” and just a bit over 8 stone and a 6-8.
Don’t aspire to it, OP. I’ve had trouble with being underweight for years and my health isn’t good because of it. I’m too thin and the GP agrees.

I'm 5ft 4, about 8 stone 4lbs and dress size 6-8, I do lift weights though and have a fair amount of muscle.

5'4 8 stone 10 and 6-8 in todays sizes. Would have been a ten years ago. It depends on body shape and waist size more than weight I think. Though they say 10lbs is a dress size.

I'm about 10 and a half stone at 5' 4" and I'm a size 12. I was a size 8-10 and 10st around 10 years ago when I ran a gym. It depends on your build!

I'm 5'3 and currently 10.3 the last time I weighed myself which is a lot for me. I'd say I'm a good 12 at the moment, around 9 stone I'm a big 10 and 8.5 a 8/small 10. I feel most comfortable at 8.5.

5ft5 and 9st5 (also supposed to be trying to lose weight), size 12 bottom and size 10 top at this weight. At 8st size 8 top and size 10 bottom

She’s asking what size people are if they are 5’4” and weigh 8 stone.
I’m 5’4 and when I was 8 stone I was a size 8 all over. Currently 9stone 2 and size 10, aiming for 8.5 stone like you
