Skirts or dresses with decent pockets are rare and beautiful things

Just got some dresses and a skirt from Harkel (sale). Decent pockets in all and I was more excited about that, and the fact they were properly constructed and adequately deep - than any other aspect. They were also colourful and nice cotton and fit me, so yes, all good.

Why don't decent pockets come as standard?

I love pockets, useful and I like somewhere to rest my hands 😂

What is the sizing like on the Harkel dresses? I actually love that rainbow one for the summer but I'm usually a 10 and it's sold out.

I add pockets to my clothes. Simple seam ones are easy enough and make a huge difference.
I never carry a handbag.

Thought dresses and skirts have lovely pockets.

One of my goals during lockdown has been learning to put pockets into things, and I've just progressed to making pyjama bottoms, pull on shorts and skirts with pockets. I've also had a go at changing existing pockets to make them deeper and stronger.
I'd love to be able to buy things off the rack.
