I'm 38. I needed some new underwear. I picked up a multi pack of black full briefs and had this warm feeling of wearing comfy pants but then a sense of dread came over me that as a 38 year old, I should not be buying big pants and that DH would probably piss himself (let's be honest, they are a bit of a passion killer I suppose!)

I compromised and got high legs in the end, but the more I think about it the more I wished that I had got the big ones!!

Yes - You are 38 not 78, buy a thong!
No - Comfy are the best, go and buy another pack of the big ones!

Is this not usual?! I've been wearing massive pants since I was 23. Even my sexy underwear is massive. Thongs are miserable male inventions.

Sloggies are so expensive though.

Everyone needs some full coverage knickers in their draw. Otherwise the sexy ones won’t be special anymore

Prior to dd being born I always worn thongs .. when I had dd I wore the big pants and love them.. but dh has had a word and laughingly explained that they are serious passion killers and hates them!! So I compromise and when I know he may see my undies I wear the thong and wear big pants when I know he won't see them and since he works away a lot I mainly wear big pants 🩲 ha ha

I’m the same age and wear comfy pants. They’re sloggi shorts and lovely and comfortable. Fuck wearing uncomfortable shit. My husband wears comfy boxers.

DP has certainly never mentioned my choice of pants! Any 'sexy' underwear I own gets changed into for an hour or two while things happen, never worn as general underwear under clothes

I’ve just gone across to full briefs. Can’t see myself going back!

Only bought a few pairs, and now get really disappointed when none of the granny pants are clean and I have to wear smaller ones

I am a big pants fan, always have been really. Especially with my new post DS shape. You can get pretty ones too but my faves are just back cotton. I'm 28 btw.
