To think it’s a bit weird sharing this on a what’s app group?

Name changed

Ex sharing a scan video of new pregnancy in a group that other parent of 1st shared child is in.

Purposefully not disclosing which parent is which not to skew replies.

YABU - completely not weird
YANBU - weird, why would anyone do that?

I think it's more weird you can't just tell a sttaight story

WitchesBritchesPumpkinPants · 26/01/2021 06:39

Given it's your child's WhatsApp group then yes it's inappropriate, but in the same way him sharing a new house or car would be. It's your child's account, not his!!

Goid job you're not upset by the pregnancy & yes it sounds like the woman needs a lot of luck ! I wonder if he was honest about the OW with her?!

Is the child happy about another sibling?

Oh12lookanothernamechange1234 · 26/01/2021 06:54

So really If it was a chat for the kids to communicate it was one of the kids sharing the photo of their new sibling?

Oh12lookanothernamechange1234 · 26/01/2021 06:55

@WitchesBritchesPumpkinPants but it’s their child’s sibling? You can’t compare a child’s sibling to a new car or house!

You completely missed my point, I was saying the EX shouldn't be using the child's account to share anything, what it was, was irrelevant.

BUT having read the op again (after coffee) I see I misread it too, he shared it on his own account, in that group.

I think it depends how that group usually works tbh. Do the adults usually share their stuff or is it really just for the child to share their news? So if granny/grandad got a new car would they share their news or is it just fior the child to say 'look I got a gold star'?

I think you’ve misread a lot, she’s clearly stated he uses it to share a lot.

I just couldn’t get annoyed about this. I mean, they’re going to notice when the baby arrives presumably?!
