To report or not

Apolgies if there have been hundreds of these lately but I'm really torn.

I live in a seaside tourist town and earlier today I was stopped by a couple with south east accents asking me for directions to their holiday cottage Hmm

She showed me the booking sheet so that I could see the address and it was an airbnb booking for a week.

Half of me thinks I should mind my own and there could be a good reason for them being there for the week.

The other half of me can't think of what that reason would be. We have one small hospital over whelmed by covid about 20 miles away so if they get ill it's not a good place to be. Add to that I'm pretty sure that the owners of holiday lets were given a hefty sum in order to make up their income they were losing.

Oh I dunno.. what would you do?

Even if I do report, what realistically will be done?!

@AllMyPrettyOnes
They will be checked and if they are doing nothing wrong, nothing will happen.
If they are breaking the law, they will be fined, just like in any other case of breaking the law.

I also think you’re doing the right thing, but some people think they are the secret Covid police and want to report anything they think is suspect.
