I can’t sleep and I’m watching a tv show on really unique delicacies across the world.

It’s got me thinking, what is the most crazy thing you’ve ever eaten?

(I feel like it’s the last day of the 6 weeks holidays and I’m up watching odd stuff all night!)

I didn’t think much of Luwak coffee, or Durian Fruit when on holiday, but I wouldn’t call it crazy. As a kid I tried dog food as I thought it smelled rather nice, it wasn’t. I used to regularly eat the dogs Good Boy chocolates drops too.

I’ve eaten a hamster treat (it tasted ashy).
I’ve eaten crocodile, camel, kangaroo, springbok (as carpaccio), snails, frogs legs, those little bitey ants in Australia (tasted surprisingly citrusy!), horse, shark... I’ll try most things in the right circumstances.

@Hoppinggreen haha no way! I'm not going to tell her because it's a standing family joke and we've made her feel terrible.

Turtle, it was truly disgusting. I was pregnant at the time so to be honest that could have been the reason I didn't enjoy it. That said I have no desire to hunt a restaurant down that serves it. This was in Japan

Crocodile. It’s surprisingly nice. Like slightly fishy chicken.
