To like Holly Willoughby?

I know she gets a lot of hate on here and online but I don't know why? I really like her. She seems like a nice person, good mum, nice appearance etc. I think she's good at her job and seems sweet and good hearted. Am I delusional?

I neither like or dislike her. She is a bit 'meh' and I would be about her ability to inspire intense feelings at either direction. I feel like she's the human equivalent of shopping at Seasalt.

I also feel mostly indifferent to Gwyneth Paltrow. But maybe that's cos I avoid Goop.

I like holly, not sure why people don't. @Bluntness100 completely with you on Amanda Holden though and Alicia Dixon I have a hard time liking,
Not jealousy in the slightest there's just something about their personalities I don't like.

I know Alesha and she is absolutely lovely in real life . No side to her whatsoever.

I don't think its fair to comment on someone don't really know. I am sure she is a good person. No real opinion on her. But she was in the right place at the right time and married a person who got her where she is today. She got lucky. I'm sure she has the same ups and downs as the rest of is albeit a much more luxurious lifestyle

Wish they’d give some other presenters air time rather than relying on the same ones all the time

Ex of a friend worked on This Morning. He was the kind of guy who’s worked in TV for decades and was sometimes really effusive about people, never had a bad word to say about anyone he’d worked with.

I asked him what she was like and he wouldn’t say anything except “I couldn’t possibly say anything about someone I’ve worked with it’d be so unprofessional”.

And then promptly went on to tell me a long, glowing story about another presenter he’d worked with on another show.

I’ve only ever seen her on Dancing on Ice but she seems competent, pleasant and easy on the eye. Not nearly as annoying as Tess Daly.

A friend of mine said her news reporter friend told her Holly is horrible 😂😂 I don’t have an opinion either way as I don’t know her and haven’t seen her in anything.

I think there's something really "off" about Holly that I can't put my finger on, but then I have an irrational dislike of Nicholas Cage for exactly the same reason.

However I doubt either of them cares that a random stranger thinks they give off bad vibes.

Her voice goes right through me. It’s terrible. Don’t mind her as a person though.

I’ve never liked or disliked her, but her sickly fawning over Phil during his “coming out” interview churned my stomach.

I find her cloyingly sweet. She is like an overdose of sugar - and she looks like a doll. Personally I find her way too 'nice'. I wouldn't switch the tv off if she came on though, unlike some others (men mainly) (In fact all men) (not ALL men, but the ones I would switch off all happen to be men) Everyone has their own opinions, like you can't like everyone you work with. No different.

You don't have to like every presenter on the TV. I record Strictly so I can zip through and don't have to watch the presenting.

Indeed. I find most TV presenters annoying, some more than others (Holly is in that category) I can't really see the point of them, most programmes work perfectly well without them.

I genuinely believe no presenters are required on Strictly. Be better for it-and shorter.

Well, she's pretty, slim, dresses nicely, successful, what's there to like?

There's a lot of hate towards Tess Strictly too, probably for the same reasons.

The only time any celebrity gets hate on here is when somebody innocently starts a thread about them...

She comes across as smug, and clearly gets work because of her husband. It's certainly not because of her presenting skills - her ability to read an autocue is abysmal.

Phil is even more unlikeable though so she's the lesser of two evils in that regard.

I never could watch PS, so haven't seen much of HW.
TD doesn't annoy me in the slightest.

Me too. The presenting on Strictly is appalling. OTT fakeness and pathetic jokes, out of sync with each other in terms of clothing generally. The only bit I now watch is the actual dancing.
