Sit down or stand up to do it?

Further to an eye opening conversation.with Dp today..slightly embarrassing..but..following a poo do you stand up or sit down to wipe your bum?
He thought my way was really odd, I find his odd..a Google sees a massive divide with people most definitely sticking to one way or the other..who knew 🤷🏻‍♀️

I do both. I sit to have the poop and give it a wipe .... disturbing even having to write this. Then I stand up to finish wiping, but not standing straight if that makes sense ... I mean if people are stood up pooping though I could understand the problem, standing and pooping that's just weird

I stand but kind of bend forward to keep my bum open. I can't possibly reach my hand down the back of the toilet sitting with all the extra winter weight.

Also really annoying about where the toilet paper is as husband likes it on the back of the loo and I like it on the loo roll holder in front of the loo. Usually ends up with two loo rolls on the go at once

Yes obviously I sit down to do the poo, can’t imagine how it’s possible to do one when standing 🤣

And I've just clicked the link to the other thread and someone mentioned do stander uppers stand up to put a tampon in too? I have never ever put a tampon in sitting on the loo, is it even possible?!

Come on people think outside the box! Standing doesn't mean standing ramrod straight with your arse clamped shut. Its just an elevated seated position .

My toddler Dd is currently potty training and also half stands to wipe her little bum..it’s more normal than sitting I think!

This has made my morning. I'm dying laughing. I had to jump out of bed to practice a few of the above mentioned moves. I'm a sitter btw. Is standing before wiping like making one of those butterfly pictures at playschool where you paint half a picture and fold the paper over creating a messy splodge kinda like your arse would be.... 🙄😃😃

Used to sit, started standing while pregnant and very ungainly. Now I’m used to standing!
