So in the ongoing attempt by the Govt (& certain section of the public) to paint teachers as the enemy in a global pandemic, Gavin Williamson’s announces (2 days after giving teachers less than 6 hours to put aside all the preparation done unpaid in the holidays to prepare onsite mass testing facilities and move to blended learning) that parents should report their school direct to Ofsted if they aren’t happy with their school’s offer.

Apparently Ofsted are inundated with over 5000 responses ..... mostly from parents praising their school and teachers!!

So if it was you - thank you! I’ve worked over 100 hours this week as have most of my staff.

I'm a gran but I did it anyway. GS living with me for lockdown and I've been really impressed with the online lessons. Hope it counts from a gran. I sent it to the enquiries address given above.

I sent an email praising all the staff at my children's school for their amazing work during first and third lockdown for providing education and wellbeing to my children and everything in between.
I also made a complaint about Gavin Williamson and that he is a safeguarding danger to the educational development of my children and further to this, a danger to their wellbeing. Hopefully they do an inspection on him and shut him down.

Lots of people are aware of what happened to my ds.

But I had legitimate reason report a safeguarding concern to ofsted comprising of bullying, knife crime, failure to follow policy, refusal to support a child who attempted suicide because school didn't think his reasons for doing so were legitimate enough (see above re billing and victim of knife crime - in the classroom!)

All that triggered was a "we are 'likely' to raise it at next inspection"

So Gavin is deluded if Harry's mum is going to trigger an inspection because he got 6 worksheets and she thought he should get 8!

I did , and I posted to my twitter account to encourage others do the same . 12 hours notice and you guys smashed it, eternally grateful for the work you and others are doing . Massively backfired for a man who I wouldn't trust to dress himself
