Leonidas chocolate

Dh bought me a large box of leonidas chocolates as part of my Christmas present & they are absolutely delicious!
I'm eating some now with a cup of tea & was just thinking how nice they are. I would prefer a couple of these than a huge tub of other chocolates.
We've done v well this year & resisted the temptation to buy roses or QS for the sake of tradition
Dd got tony chocolonely & Lindt in her stocking.

We are working out way through the 60 chocolate box ( the ones where you self select the one's you wanted ) there are only 2 of us here 20 left !

I'd buy some but put my walking trousers on today and couldn't so them up. May order for my birthday.

Had second box of Paul Smith in the Autumn which were nice.

LienD I used to like the chocs from Daeskaldes that used to be in Tervuren in 2006-2009....near where the Post Office is now? I enjoyed the ones that Hannah used to sell in Chocolat, and the ones from the various bakers, especially Musieux and Au Flan Breton.

I got a wonderful chocolate Christmas tree one year from DeKimpe on Brusselsesteenweg; their stuff was fab, especially the Apple tarts and the wonderful cherry and almond tarts.

I can't believe this thread is still going! And I'm LOVING all the Belgian chocolate chat (making notes!)
I ate another 3 today in honour of this thread! Onto the second layer now.
I also love the dark chocolate cherries & one years dh bought an an entire box of them as part of my birthday present- I savoured each one (shared them with him s he loves them too but he's manfully resisting the mixed box this time as he says he bought them for me)

I used to love going to Colryut from December onwards and they would have pick and mix on Lindor and their version of it. Same at Easter, with different varieties of little Milka eggs.

The Milka Alpine is still very good TheSilentStars. I also really enjoyed the Lindt Neopolitans that I would see in boxes on the ferry.

Cote d'Or is ds's favourite in bars, especially the ones wrapped in proper paper and there are two bars in a pack. He used to go back to university loaded up with those.
