People who say this, thinking this means that they can't catch it again, are thickos?

They're up there with the nose sticking out above the mask types.

I'm hearing about more cases now of reinfection. I don't think people are thickos. I just this they are misinformed.

There are people quoting out of date information on here re reinfection rates. They are also misinformed.

It's easy to become misinformed in this shit show!

My son currently has Covid and he had previously tested positive for antibodies.

I suspected I had it in March. This week my daughter has had Covid but my test was negative despite us being in close contact throughout. So either my test result is wrong or I’m right in thinking I had it in March and still have some immunity. My daughter was living away from home at that point so wouldn’t have been near me in March. My youngest two children have had negative tests too despite being with their sister all week which would suggest they caught it off me at that stage or they’ve had a mild version caught from school.

I currently have a cold. Had both cold and covid before. Definitely a big difference for me between the two. Still I went for a test this time to check and it came back negative. (Could be a false negative but I really don't think so)

I am in London my family had covid before the first lockdown. Then spent months surrounded by people getting covid. Especially the last two months when a third of are school seems to have got it. We are a two keyworker house as well. My husband has been is particularly exposed throughout.

In all this time none of us have got covid again. I do believe some people will get it more than once. However for the majority of people I know they seem to have some immunity once they get it.

Our secondary teachers were wiped out before first lockdown. Half the year groups were sent home because of staff shortages. This time despite the kids cases being massive only staff member that got it caught it in hospital having an operation. Our secondary closed early because of cases being so high amongst kids too. So I think that is interesting.

OR you just haven’t caught it! A friend of mine had a confirmed case in April, he was very ill, his husband who obviously shared a bed etc. did not catch it and had a negative test result.

One of my colleagues caught it from her daughter who probably caught it from nursery. Neither her husband nor her other child caught it despite all living together.
