Supposed to be going to ROI to visit family and obviously now cant go direct, so she is thinking of going to Belfast and driving down through the border to ROI.

2 issues, with no proof of destination in NI , will they even be allowed off the boat? And isnt there a huge risk of being stuck there, which would mean missing work and would cause them massive money problems?

Numbers are very high from NI and Republic today hospital beds filling up
I can't see schools reopening if numbers continue to increase.

No she didnt, common sense prevailed (well that and the fact that her family told her not to go!).

For what it’s worth, I crossed the border on the 26th and came back on the 29th and there was no presence anywhere. We went on the motorway.
