Things you can't stand for no reason whatsoever?

I have a real aversion to silicone. For some reason the thought of it makes me feel like I'm going to throw up, I can honestly get to heaving point 🤢 I've no idea why, it's not the feel of it. I just can't stand the thought of it.

It's the same with bottle tops, like the screw bottle top on a bottle of coke. The tip is always so scratchy and it gives me shivers.

Anyone else have random things they cannot stand but can't really explain?

This is me too - even reading about biting wool or cotton wool is making me cringe. I’m not good with squeaking noises anyway.

Polystyrene- can’t bear it.

Microfiber cloths. Cant stand the feel of them on my fingers. And they sort of cling to them as though my fingers have grown minute barbs that hook onto the fabric. Ugh. If I accidentally touch anything made of microfiber I have to rub my hand vigorously on another fabric to rid myself of the sensation.

The smell of cold cooked potato remnants soaking in water, truly vomit inducing in both sight and smell.

I don’t know the woman but everything about her makes me insanely angry. I’m sure she’s perfectly pleasant but I cannot stand watching/listening to anything she does. It’s not her politics (although we are an opposite sides) but it’s something I can’t explain.

DH can’t stand the word “poorly”, he goes mad if I say it. It’s like Moist which is a common one.

People who use "!" contantly and too liberally, as in every single time they type a few words on a forum or a product review. Your opinon is not as important as you seem to think it is.

What you think of supermarket own brand baked beans is no place for "!". It seems arrogant to me.

The term 'young family'. What if the children are young but the parents are quite old?
