No I’m not a perv, I’m a fat lazy bastard that needs a kick up the arse. 3 years ago I was at the gym 3 times a week, swimming twice a week and practicing martial arts twice a week. Now i walk the dog for an hour a day. That’s it. I’ve put on two stone and feel like shit.
I bought a costume with a plan to go back to the gym but when I tried it on I looked absolutely disgusting, it actually made me not want to go at all and I sent it back.

So what do you guys wear for swimming?? I have no fashion sense so if I could at least fit in with what people actually wear that would be a start.

I think Zoggs are more flattering than Speedos which seem a bit old fashioned and the sizing is off. Loads on ebay if you want to try a few styles cheaply?

DieSchottin93 · 27/12/2020 22:30

I wear Zoggs, their sizing is much more true to size than Speedo and they are also made from recycled materials Smile I find Speedo too short in the body so they really dig in to my shoulders.

@TheChosenTwo that's bloody gorgeous! I've got something similar in shape, but not quite as skirty. I look amazing in it and you can't see my arse cheeks dribbling out of the back

Try Bravissimo or somewhere that sells properly fitting swimwear. If your books are properly supported then you'll flatten your tummy straight away. Don't rule out a bikini either. I find my bikini is far more flattering than any swimsuit. This is my current one. The high way briefs also totally flatten your tummy! www.bravissimo.com/products/making-waves-bikini-top-fw195/#cobaltwhite-fw195cwt

Nah, I've got plenty of bookshelves, and they do nothing for my tummy. Wink

Esther Williams swim suits are great. They look like a swimsuit from the 1950's. They're glamorous, quite flattering (especially if you're feeling a bit fat), and are also very practical for swimming in.

BusterGonad · 28/12/2020 01:45

Yes. You've definitely got to get your boobs up to smooth everything out. I do think swim suits can be quite unflattering if you don't choose carefully. I wear bikinis but I'm not slim at the moment so I quickly get in the water. I still think they look better than a swim suit as I just look like a sack of shit in them.

I swim everyday and wear Zoggs with a scoop back. They are £20 on the Zoggs website.
