Adam, Saoirse and Michael were the highlights. Adam deserved a trip to NASA!

Really good one - and thank God not as many annoying stage school kids. Adam was adorable and I cried while watching Saoirse and her mum, thinking how last year she watched the Toy Show and had no idea what was ahead of her. My DS is 8 so I found it hit home. I think that is why people are donating so much, it’s a thank God I’m ok and I hope someone will be there for me when I am not.

Mind you - there were no toys on it 🙄 it’s funny as DS (8) got bored but wanted to watch it as all of his class were hyped up fit it. But the two teens loved it.

@FedUpWithBriiiiick - totally agree they need to get that Astronaut with the Irish link to take Adam to NASA.

Adam was just the liveliest sweetest little thing. And when he came back for his rabbit....so lovely. A real ray of sunshiney joy that little boy.

Michael was so lovely. Well spoken, quiety confident, and then blown away. And such an open honest response to what happened. Tubs was right about his Dad - sure any parent would be proud of such a grand young fella.

Yes not enough toys @Annasgirl but Tubs involved with SVP so maybe not trying to push consumerism this year...though I miss the toys. I remember Gaybo and the furbies...he hadn't a clue :)

I really loved the special guest appearance by Miggeldy at the end 😂

I think the lack of toys was to reflect the pressure on households this year. It would be crass to be the television version of the Smyths catalogue

I know what you mean but it has become less and less about the toys and more about the children they bring on.
Gaybo was my time, remember so well watching with my parents and sisters and brothers. Warm and fuzzy ❤️

Polly made me lol. It was so early as well, I had to check the wine bottle to make sure it wasn't half gone!
