What’s with all the Lurpak hate? Lurpak is the King of Butters - so fresh tasting and melty.

ferociouskin · 17/11/2020 20:00

@myhobbyisouting haha your post made me laugh, I do have a bottle of red in kitchen but just didn't fancy it tonight so yes...that's orange juice 😂. The tray is my 7 year old daughters and so is the chapstick, just sat it on the sofa to sit my drinks on.

Mmm, used to love that. Not bought pate in ages.

But i had West African peanut stew for dinner and that is/was the most delicious thing ever. Sorry.

Lurpak blocks of actual butter are the best.

Spreadable butter is not.

Twobrews · 17/11/2020 20:01

Cross posted can't stand pâté, it's a no from me.

Rose789 · 17/11/2020 20:01

You could not pay me to eat that.
But I’m glad you enjoyed it op Flowers

It's not Lurpak butter butter, it's Lurpak spreadable butter!
LuckyAmy1986 · 17/11/2020 20:02

God that looks amazing!!!

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 17/11/2020 20:03

Maybe, Wired, but spreadable?!

Wildflower219 · 17/11/2020 20:09

Confused sorry not my cup of tea I don't even like butter on bread. I would however, take the what I assume to be orange juice Smile

Nope, the king of butters is M&S Brittany butter with sea salt crystals.
SummerHouse · 17/11/2020 21:08

100% YANBU. (Hold the pate)

Do you eat a whole round of cheese? Asking for a friend.

CorianderLord · 17/11/2020 21:10

That bread needs toasting and I'd need cranberry sauce

iklboogeymum · 17/11/2020 21:15

Presentation-poor

She's not entering Masterchef. I don't do poncey plating up for myself when I'm just having something like this.

LakieLady · 17/11/2020 21:16

YABU, you've made me fancy some really ripe Camembert now and I haven't got any.

And I've got a bottle of nice Rioja to go with the Camembert I haven't got.

Caesargeezer · 17/11/2020 21:18

@LadyMonicaBaddingham

I had baguette, Boursin and red wine for supper. I'm so 80s..! du pain, du vin, du Boursin
I love this!
Pickypolly · 17/11/2020 21:21

What’s that brown stuff?

Nope.
Egg & chips is the best tea ever. EVER.

OliveHenry · 17/11/2020 21:23

I'll own up to using Lurpak spreadable too. I know it's not quite as nice as the block stuff but it's just so much easier to cope with when you haven't got room for a butter dish and need to keep it in the fridge!

Daisy829 · 17/11/2020 21:26

Yummy. Needs some nice wine to go with it. It’s my idea of a perfect meal.

Purplecatshopaholic · 17/11/2020 21:33

That looks totally delish - some of my fave things (including lurpak!)

BackforGood · 17/11/2020 21:34

YABVVVVU

Even debatable if that can be called a dinner, let alone 'the best'.
I opened the thread expecting to see a lovely lamb roast or something.

Jinglebellissimo · 17/11/2020 21:37

I think it looks tasty OP. And is probably going to upset a lot of pregnant women Grin

MereDintofPandiculation · 17/11/2020 21:38

Nope. Still feeling warm, full and happy from sharing a haggis. That's the best meal ever, until whatever I next have which is the best meal ever.

Nancydrawn · 17/11/2020 21:40

I adore a picnic dinner. I heartily object to the orange juice.

DaddysGirlForLife · 17/11/2020 21:42

Pate!!! Yummmmmm! I want some now.
