Best friend has just had new boyfriend move in.
She is 30, he 34.
They met when she was 27 (single mum to a toddler) and he 31.
They had a brief fling but despite them BOTH being single, it has never progressed beyond a FWB situation.
Until now.
He has never had a job and lived at home all his adult life.
It appears that his mother has had enough of this now and wants him out. All the sudden he and my friend are 'coupling' up and he's moving in.
After 4 years of 'friendship' where they were both single all the sudden they are a couple.

He's just a cocklodger, isn't he?

What do you mean "just get an office job"? I have an office job which I have worked hard for, and still do you make it sound like a second class choice?

By office job I mean something that he could have done straight from school. Obviously there's office jobs and office jobs.

I'm not jealous btw, I don't want a 34-year-old mommy's boy who as it happens does hit the weed quite hard.
Though I meant household pot.

I honestly don't know what benefits he's on. His mum found him a course to do once. He asked my friend if he could just hide out at her's during the day and pretend to be at college. She said no. THAT would be a major red flag for anyone but she is besotted.
Like I said, he's either a complete s* or just mentally ill.

Haha sorry my bad, I somehow read it to mean pot (weed) for them to share, doh! But it's almost like I knew...as you said he hits the weed hard
