AIBU to tell plumber to shove his plunger where the sun doesnt shine?

Ok, so I am very pre-menstrual! But I sat in this morning waiting for the plumber to come (he'd said between 9 and 11am) He did a no show...but then sent a text at 11.45 saying he was running late (No shit!) and could he come later . I said no I had to go out. He then suggested Monday. I didnt reply since I was off to work. I've just got home and noticed he has texted me again, a question mark. This has given me (possiby) unreasonable amounts of rage. It seems like its ok for him to be too busy to come when he said he would. But its not ok for me to be too busy to reply within whatever timeframe he mysteriously has in his head! So:
Yes - YABU take a chill pill
No - YANBU up it goes

likely he's stuck under a sink somewhere trying to drain a blockage or fix a leak.....if it becomes more complicated should he just up and leave to get to you? he probably text as soon as he had made the situation safe

he had that customer breathing down his neck, now you...he maybe on a plumbers forum somewhere asking if he would be reasonable to stick a plunger up the arse of YOU op

What are you waiting for the plumber to do?

I'm married to one and it's a nightmare time of year and broken boilers of old ladies will take priority over dripping en-suite taps.

Be kind to your plumber, in my experience this time of year they're fighting fires and trying to keep everyone happy whilst only seeing their family for a few hours on a Sunday.

They're also human, so why not explain that you were frustrated by him texting so late after he was due here and you're concerned this may happen again on Monday and you have work etc planned.
