Don't get me wrong, I do like Nigella Lawson and her cookery programs, however:

Has anybody else noticed that she pretends not to have proper knife skills and flails around in a sexy, helpless, becarrotted damsel in distress any time she has to chop something?

It reminds me of secondary school when some of the girls would pretend to be ditzy and thick so boys would like them.

Ok so her first husband died. I didn't know that but her second marriage still ended.
Because her husband was an abuser and she (thankfully) finally got out of it.

Time for Nigella to become non-binary or whatever @amms36. I would actually like to see the TRA reaction to an overtly feminine woman who owns her own sexuality making that declaration

Bloody hell. Google Nigella's life story then see if you'd want to swap. She has suffered more heartache and loss than any one person should bear. Beauty and money cannot compensate. Leave her and her spoon licking alone. I'd imagine that, beneath the screen persona, is someone feeling pretty desperate. What else could make you think marrying Charles Saatchi would bring you happiness?

@MrsMiaWallis...Probably watched enough of her early programmes to know how she is on tv, but mostly keep up with her now through her books, news articles both written by her and written about her, her Twitter, her appearances on chat shows, clips of her on Saturday kitchen, threads in Mumsnet. She’s fairly well known, even if I haven’t watched her shoes for a few years!
