Eeek friend's birthday today, and haven't been organised enough to get her something lovely 🥴. What could I buy from a supermarket - wine and chocolate... Aaaaand??

Embarrassed 😳😂. Oops

If you're going to Lidl, you could end up with a chainsaw and an inflatable summerhouse

I just treated myself to wireless headphones £30 (reduced from £50) and a pocket DAB radio £4 (reduced from £7) from Tesco for DD6 to give me on my Birthday. Am very pleased with them indeed. Our Tesco and B&M are veritable treasure groves of wonder and I could easily blow a few hundred £ on self gifting Grin

*troves, though a treasure grove also sounds fun.

I dont think any of my friend have bought me a birthday gift since I was 12 lol

I'm the gifter in my circle and do it for any and all events (or just because I saw something they'd like, its apparently my 'love language' lol) but NO ONE elses ever does, the only person I would expect gifts off is my DH

are adult friends still doing all that?
