My vagina & anus? (It says not to)

I get regular Hollywood waxes & had one booked for the day after lockdown which obviously never happened!
I really can't stand shaving. It doesn't give you that smooth feeling and it grows back quicker & itchy.
I'm desperate as it has been 7 weeks.

YABU - Don't do it. Just live with it.
YANBU - Do it. I would!

I can't believe that I have got to the grand old age of 50 and only just discovered that people do this!

Sheltered life just doesn't cover it really...............

Runkle · 09/11/2020 21:51

Go for it, I used Nair for years with no bother (strictly following timeline!) . I used it on most areas and then just shaved any stragglers.

BangingOn · 09/11/2020 21:55

Woo Woo make a hair removal cream for a DIY Brazilian and it’s great.

Peakypolly · 09/11/2020 21:55

Why haven't you bought the cream designed for the bikini area?
I have used it very successfully for years and would never consider a wax now.

DuzzyFuck · 09/11/2020 21:56

From painful experience, get the proper bikini line hair removal cream, the sensitive one for body is not nearly sensitive enough!! Blush

MitziK · 09/11/2020 21:59

I developed an allergy to Veet out of nowhere about 10 years ago. Absolutely fine, every time, then one day, chemical burns covering my lower legs within about 2 minutes. I was red raw for weeks.

You really don't want to find out you've developed that allergy 3 minutes in to using it there.

Lozz22 · 09/11/2020 22:00

I do, apart from one time I've never had a problem with it. The only problem I had was I forgot to set the timer on my phone and pissed about doing something else and ended up with a slight irritation right where the knicker legs sit.

Thehop · 09/11/2020 22:01

Get a lumea and laser the lot off

pinklillie · 09/11/2020 22:02

Came on to say Woo Woo too. You can get it from Superdrug. Pop it on have a shower like normal and then just rinse that area off after 3 mins. Works a treat!

I'll second this with the veet sensitive hair removal cream for the face. Chemical burnt the fuck out of my face. Took months and months for it to go back to normal. Skin was spotty and rough for ages and I practically had to slough my skin off each week to get it back to how it was. Yet the normal hair removal cream down there absolutely fine apart from the one time I left it on a bit too long. Still no where near as bad as the facial one though
Glitteryone · 09/11/2020 22:04

I’ve done this loads of times before.

Although be warned Veet doesn’t smell great.

Raffaella13 · 09/11/2020 22:06

I do this but I use Nair. Veet is a bit harsh for me I find.

I think I've seen alternatives in Superdrug which are specifically for the bikini area though but I've never had an issue with Nair

WooWoo Tame it! Womens Hair... https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07MDXBK8N?ref=ppxpoppmobappshare

This one is good. I've used the Nair ones and got mild burns but this one is painless!

DaddysGirlForLife · 09/11/2020 22:43

Thank you all for your replies. I'll take a look at WooWoo. Smile

I definitely will not be giving up my 6weekly waxing routine. The veet didn't burn and wasn't painful at all. I left it on for 10mins. I showered and clumps came off. I had to use my razor as well. Obviously not a smooth finish & hasn't brought the hair up from the roots but definitely feel cleaner (and sexier haha)
I'm off to book a wax for next month. Grin

@DeliaOwens

OP, I bought Philips Lumea because I am a 'full Hollywood every four weeks' kinda girl. Lumea has been a game changer for me.
How the fuck do you use a Lumea on your arse hair? Does someone else do it for you? Also, it must take absolutely ages to do your entire minge and bum, the window thing is only small!
FarTooSkinny · 09/11/2020 23:08

I just douse everything with overproof vodka and then set fire to it

goldeline · 09/11/2020 23:36

Buy yourself some strip free wax beads and a wax warmer and do it yourself? Mine cost less than one professional wax and the results are just as good with a bit of practice.

torquewench · 10/11/2020 06:03

I dont bother fannying about with hair remover! Ive bought a wax pot and wax beads to do my own bikini area (peel off rather than strip wax), and a wax roller with cartridges for my legs (strip wax). Small patches until I perfected my technique, watch plenty of tutorials and a new rug to cover the result of my earlier efforts 😊👌🏼

anxiiousone · 10/11/2020 06:29

Surely not vulva?! Shock do you mean labia/vaginal lips?

Please be careful!

CodenameVillanelle · 10/11/2020 06:30

@IHaveBrilloHair

You need an epilator.
Omg no you cannot epilate the vulva! That would literally destroy the skin.

I bought this but a) it doesn't properly remove the hair on my bikini line and b) I tried it on the undercarriage and it burned!!
