Annoyed by the lady in the green top!!

So is it just me. For last few days my Mumsnet has been haunted by a lady in a green top. Not sure if Mumsnet think this is advertising? But is basically just annoying me!

I've definitely never seen that advert.

@CovidClara I am sick at the sight of that ad. Poor woman and apologies for the negativity but i can't abide it.

I kept getting some weird advert with mouldy bread, which is really annoying with pregnancy nausea!

I get the mouldy bread or ear wax adds 😂 a lday in a green top would be positively delightful compared to those.

Download StopAd, it’s a free advert blocker. Another forum I use was almost covered by an ad last week so I blocked cookies and pop ups too.

I haven’t seen the green topped lady but I always get the Ann Summers one and some eye wateringly expensive watches that I could never afford even if I wanted to!

I get ads for Knomo and Uniqlo mostly - and occasionally jumpers with cats on from a dodgy chinese company.
You've obviously done something to make the google gods think you like the green top lady or whatever she is advertising.
Go into settings and clear your cookies - that'll get rid of her for a while.

OMG i had her throughout lockdown . The microwave cupcake looks completely disgusting and probably has 1000 calories. I got a bit paranoid as I'm overweight and wondered if the lady in the green top ad is targeted at me due to Google knowing what size clothes i order online.

If you log in to your MN account rather than the app,green top lady goes away.

Things could be worse--sometimes I get ads for gun holsters! Minding my own business on mumsnet, and wham: a giant gun on the right-hand side of the screen.
